  • 100X Welding Training is a hands-on welding course designed to teach practical skills in a safe, faith-centered environment. We offer beginner and intermediate-level instruction to equip students with valuable trades knowledge and job-ready skills.

  • Anyone ages 16 and up interested in learning welding is welcome. Whether you’re exploring a career in the trades, want to pick up a new skill, or are seeking a second-chance opportunity, our training is open to all.

  • No prior experience is required! Our program is designed for beginners and intermediate learners. Our instructors walk students through each technique with clarity and safety in mind.

  • Depending on your training, you’ll learn:

    • Welding safety and gear usage

    • From the Basics to expert level welding techniques

    • Metal preparation and cutting

    • Weld joint types and practice

    • Equipment handling and maintenance

    • Project-based welding and problem-solving

  • We offer a variety of courses with standard in-person training workshops, half-day 5-hour basic to full-day and even intensive multi-day trainings, with future training options to be offered for more advanced techniques.

  • The training is held at Esposito Metalworks LLC located at the shop at 4255 NE 12th Avenue in Ocala, Florida. Our facility includes welding booths, safety equipment, and the tools needed for hands-on learning.

  • Yes. Cost of each training is listing the training details. Trainings generally include consumables, with the option to upgrade to more materials. Participants are required to provide safety gear, (welding jacket, welding helmet, cap, gloves, and safety goggles).

  • We provide most materials, but students should wear:
     

    • Long pants (no shorts)

    • Leather closed-toe shoes (or steel-toe)

    • A cotton long-sleeve shirt (no synthetics)

    • The 7 PPE items are required for each training.

  • Yes. All students receive a Certificate of Completion, which can be added to a resume or used as proof of basic training experience. This is can be a valuable credential for job exploration or further learning. If you would like to become a certified welder, we offer AWS testing and certification at our facility.

  • Yes. We prioritize safety above all. Teens must have parent/guardian consent and follow strict safety rules. We provide the proper gear and supervision throughout the class.

  • We combine real-world welding skills with a faith-driven, values-based environment. We emphasize hard work, purpose, and integrity—preparing students not just for jobs, but for life.

Getting Started & Beginners

  • Do I need prior welding experience to take a class at 100X?

    ​

    No. All our training programs are designed to be beginner-friendly. We focus on building core skills, safety, and confidence, regardless of your background.
     

  • How old do I have to be to take a welding class?

    ​

    The minimum age is 16. Students aged 16–17 must have a parent or legal guardian complete all required waivers and paperwork prior to training.
     

  • Can I really learn to weld in one day?

    ​

    Yes, our one-day workshops are designed to teach you the fundamentals. You will leave with the ability to strike an arc, understand machine setup, and lay down clean, solid welds.
     

  • What is 100X Weld Training?

    100X Weld Training is an Ocala-based welding school providing hands-on instruction in MIG, Stick, TIG, and FCAW processes. Founded in 2024, we focus on real-world skills for career seekers, hobbyists, and businesses.

Classes, Scheduling & Pricing

  • What welding processes do you teach?

     

    We provide expert instruction in the four primary welding processes: MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
     

  • How much do group welding classes cost?

     

    Our standard group welding classes are $250 for a 5-hour session.
     

  • Do you offer private, one-on-one welding lessons?

     

    Yes. We offer 2-hour private, one-on-one sessions for $200. These are highly customized to your specific skill level and goals, whether you are a beginner or looking to troubleshoot advanced techniques.
     

  • What is the maximum class size?

     

    We limit our group sessions to a maximum of 5 students to ensure that every participant receives personal attention, consistent supervision, and plenty of "arc time."
     

  • What should I wear/bring to class?

     

    Students must arrive ready with proper PPE: welding helmet, safety glasses, welding gloves, long-sleeve cotton/FR jacket, long cotton pants, and leather boots (no sneakers). A full list is available on our website.
     

  • Do you provide equipment and materials?

     

    Yes. All welding machines, consumables, and practice plates needed for your scheduled class are included in the price.
     

Certification & Career Paths

 

  • Do you provide AWS welding certification?

     

    We provide the expert training and skill-building foundation necessary to pass certification exams. We maintain a verified partnership with Weld Test Services LLC, allowing our students to access formal AWS-recognized testing.
     

  • Do I get a certificate when I finish a class?

     

    Yes. Every student receives a 100X Weld Training Certificate of Completion, which documents their training hours and the skills covered.
     

  • Do you help students find welding jobs?

     

    While we are a training facility, our lead instructor, Joshua Esposito, uses his 28 years of industry experience to mentor students on how to prepare for interviews, what employers look for, and how to navigate the local job market.
     

  • Can my business send employees for training?

     

    Yes. We provide customized training for local employers in Ocala and Central Florida. We can train your team at our facility or, depending on your needs, provide on-site training to upskill your staff.

  • Where is 100X Weld Training located?

     

    We are located at 4255 NE 12th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34479.
     

  • What if I don’t have my own welding gear?

     

    If you don't have your own PPE, we offer high-quality gear rental on-site for $25.
     

  • Can I purchase extra practice time?

     

    Yes. We offer "Extra Arc Time" practice plates for use during your session, as well as take-home "Practice Packs" if you have a machine and want to continue practicing on your own.
     

  • Are veterans welcome at 100X?

    ​

    Yes, we are honored to welcome all veterans to our training programs.
     

  • Do you train homeschool groups or youth organizations?

    ​

    Yes. We are a trusted partner for local homeschool groups and organizations (students 16+) looking to integrate skilled trades into their education.
     

  • What is your arrival policy?

     

    Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. This allows time to sign in, gear up, and ensure you don’t miss the safety briefing.
