Process:
At 100X Weld Training, we focus on the core welding processes that define the industry. Our curriculum is designed to give you practical, hands-on experience, whether you are picking up a torch for the first time or refining your technique for a specific certification.
-
MIG / GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding): The industry standard for production and fabrication. We teach machine setup, proper gas shielding, and techniques to produce clean, consistent welds.
-
Stick / SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding): The essential foundation of manual welding. Learn to master arc control and electrode manipulation in various positions—a skill critical for field work and heavy structural environments.
-
TIG / GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding): Precision welding at its finest. This course focuses on the advanced heat control and dexterity required for high-quality, specialized joints, often used in aerospace, automotive, and thin-gauge applications.
-
FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding): We provide training in flux-cored wire welding for students targeting structural or industrial fabrication roles where deep penetration and speed are required.
Core Fundamentals Integrated Into Every Class:
Regardless of the process you are learning, our training includes mandatory instruction in:
-
Welding Safety: Comprehensive PPE training and hazard recognition.
-
Metal Preparation: Best practices for grinding, cleaning, and surface finishing to ensure weld integrity.
-
Cutting: Industrial methods for material preparation.
-
Weld Positions: Hands-on practice in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead welding.
